It has been years since you left the Hanwell Mental Institute finally healed, and you would not be returned to him for anything in the world. He was a despicable place filled with hate and pain; often more humane held that doctors charge. But there is no denying it, you are recognizing faces in your visions, stories become too familiar and they are unbearable. Something terrible happened there and it has somehow affected you. He was sleeping in your memories for years until today. You can no longer distinguish reality from fantasy, and you will not be able to live in peace until you unravel the past and discover what happened to you. It’s time to go back and face the horrors that await in the asylum.
Asylum is a horror adventure game Senscape that takes place in an insane asylum.
Asylum is a horror upcoming video game developed by Senscape, a developer of independent video games located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The game is written by Agustín Cordes, who has designed the game Scratches for the defunct developer Nucleosys. Taking place in a fictional insane asylum known as the Hanwell Mental Institute, players will be able to fully explore the institute, which is partly based on genuine asylum items. The game will be “tortuous tales” and “horrifying revelations”, and mood-oriented style horror, much like Scratches.
The game was officially announced on 9 July 2010, after a previous viral marketing campaign that involved a series of online videos on YouTube presumed to be posted by an inmate escaped called Leonard hunts. A fake website of the Hanwell Mental Institute was also established. The first official images were published August 12, 2011.
January 29, 2013, Agustín Cordes opened a Kickstarter campaign to raise US $ 100,666, which would be used to accelerate the development of the game. On February 28, 2013, it successfully raised $ 119.426, providing additional funding to bring the game iPad and Android.
