Full Throttle, the classic graphic adventure from LucasArts, is coming back in remastered form next year. Developer Double Fine is giving the 1995 game an audiovisual scrub from toe to tip for Full Throttle Remastered for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and PC.
A new trailer, released in advance of this weekend’s PlayStation Experience event, gives us our first look at the remastered Full Throttle, which promises “new hand-drawn and 3D high-resolution artwork, with remastered audio and music.” The game will be playable at PSX 2016, Double Fine revealed.
Full Throttle Remastered will let players switch between classic and remastered modes, with the ability to mix and match audio, graphics and UI. Double Fine will also include a concept art browser and a commentary track featuring the game’s original creators.
Double Fine announced Full Throttle Remastered at last year’s PlayStation Experience. The developer has also released remastered versions of LucasArts games Grim Fandango and Day of the Tentacle.
