Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone will run in 1080p at 60 frames per second on PlayStation 4, Sega revealed at its “Sega feat. Hatsune Miku Project” Tokyo Game Show panel yesterday.
The rhythm game, a home version of the popular arcade title Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Arcade, will be released on PlayStation 4 as a download-only title in Japan. Producer Hiroshi Utsumi says he wants to put out a final version of the game that demonstrates just how much has gone into its creation.
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone is due out in Japan in 2016, but according to Utsumi, it will be after Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X (presumably the PS Vita version that launches in March), “around a time that everyone can play without getting tired of it.”
